Scaffolding is used daily in the construction, maintenance and general industrial applications. It is essential therefore that every contractor using access scaffolding shall ensure that such scaffolding, when used, complies with the safety standards incorporated for this purpose into these Regulations under section 44 of the Act. The purpose of this learning programme is to enable learners to inspect scaffolding in accordance with regulations.
